New look for Lutu

I have decided to revise the look of Lutu Warrior of the North as I felt the computer inked and coloured version lacked something of my original drawings.

I am now proceeding with a hand inked and then computer coloured style. Here is the first sample.

Stop and start again

Well the world of Lutu has been a little stop and start lately. It is competing for my time with my other comic Kung Fu Engine which has been getting interest in my local comic book shop.

That aside, Lutu is in the layout and pencil stage and I am up to page three. I shall be posting some page samples once they are inked.

So until that day comes here is a coloured reference piece that I did of Lutu.

Production Update

I am still looking for a publishing home for Lutu Warrior of The North and I have submitted it to a few places. We shall see what the response is like on that front shortly. The full script is almost complete and I have begun drawing out the pages. The original story was set for a one shot but it seems at this point that it will be at least one more issue, or two, in the story.

Thanks to everyone with all the positive feed back and here is a snippet of a scene from the comic.

Cheers

Rough sketches

Here is a rough pencil sketch of a scene from the upcoming Lutu Warrior of The North.

Who is Lutu?

Lutu is the main character in my new sword and sorcery comic book that is currently in production. She is the sister of a famous Warrior, who is also named Lutu, but unfortunately our Lutu is more of a culinary expert than a sword master . Lutu is mistaken for her sister and she assumes her identity in hopes of finding her.

The comic's story will follow Lutu's adventures as she travels across the realm with Sword Master Han.
